‘Summer Storm’ Hibiscus will take your garden by storm with its large 8-inch, clear pink flowers that burst into bloom in late July. To add to the color storm, each petal on each bloom is decorated with deep rose veins and an even deeper magenta eye that radiates out onto the petals. This Hibiscus also features the ability to bloom much longer and stronger due to the fact that it has indeterminate buds and produces flowers at every node along the stem as well as at the tips. Even with all that flower color, ‘Summer Storm’ adds even more color as its nearly black foliage makes a dramatic contrast with the pink flowers. This foliage is darker than ‘Kopper King’ and it will make every flower on the plant pop with color! ‘Summer Storm’, like most purple foliage plants, requires direct sunlight to develop the deep purple coloring so plant this selection in direct full sun for the best foliage coloring and best bloom power.
