Large pale blue to deep blue flowers cover this climbing vine from May till September. Many gardeners prefer the flowers on the new growth and prune it down to 8-12″ as a class three clematis with a hard prune in early spring. Ramona is easy to grow and is a good garden performer. Fertilize throughout the growing season to support its large size and huge flowers. Plant this Clematis in a full to part sun exposure, and give it something to climb such as a trellis or shrub to show off its huge blooms!
