Great for those shady, damp spots in the garden or near a pond. Foliage is the highlight of this perennial with nicely textured, deep purple leaves. Early summer bloom provides for daisy-like yellow flowers that last several weeks. Great for a damp spot that does not get much sun.  The compact size makes them ideal for ground cover or container.  Foliage offers nice rich color and texture to the landscape such as bog gardens.
