Extremely hardy and extremely floriferous, ‘Markham’s Pink’ offers one of the best packages in the Clematis world with early season bloom on an easy care plant. ‘Markham’s Pink’ is one of the earliest, most vigorous Clematis to emerge. It seems like it’s always in a hurry early in the season to grow and bud, jumping into the springtime landscape fray with 3″ diameter, nodding, semi-double, deep pink flowers that start to bloom in late April and continue well into June followed by attractive, frilly seed heads in the summer. While it will tolerate light shade, ‘Markham’s Pink’ is a perfect fit for a fully sunny area and will proivide a show that is far earlier and far longer than most other Clematis you are familiar with.
