Wickedly hardy and attractive, This Bellflower concentrates its blooming power on stem ending stalks of color that make the plant look far more blue than green when in bloom. Deep green foliage forms a dense rosette of leaves in the early spring and tops itself with loads of buds by early to mid May. These buds open by late May creating masses of clustered, starshaped, purple-blue bloom that dominate the plant’s foliage well into July. What a show and what and easy care plant! Its tight, upright form and grow anywhere nature make it the perfect plant for grouping in the middle of a perennial border in any sunny to partially sunny location.
