This exciting Rhododendron shows its New England roots proudly as an offspring of the Weston Nursery developed ‘Aglo’ and it performs with just as much landscape distinction. It’s small leaf selection that boasts a tight, dense, rounded form that is more compact than ‘Aglo’ with deeper green foliage and the added feature of deep red stems to show off the foliage even more. ‘Bubblegum’ will more than hold its own in bloom against its more famous parent as its bursts into bloom in mid to late April with clouds of slightly larger, deeper pink flowers that will completely envelop the plant in color.
