Bridget Spring Promise® Lenten Rose, along with her many sisters, are a breakthrough in Hellebore breeding. While many of the Hellebores on the market have been great landscape plants, their flowering is variable and they have not been reliable bloomers from seed especially their first year in production. ‘Bridget’ and the Spring Promise® series change all that with vegetatively produced plants that are consistant in size, flower color and flower power from season to season. ‘Bridget’ is a dense mounded plant with evergreen foliage that buds up in Early March and blooms in the landscape from late March through early May. Big, pale pink flowers with a light green throat are held above the foliage and offer a cool pastel greeting to spring. Like all Hellebores, ‘Bridget’ loves partial shade and moist, well-drained soil.
