Born in Italy, Rubens® is the offspring of the British ‘Gala’ and European ‘Elstar’ parentage. Sporting a striking striped green-gold and light red color, its taste is sweet like that of ‘Gala’, but more aromatic, with a nice crisp texture and tones of melon.
