This chance seedling is bigger and bolder than P. orientale with darker foliage, a more upright look, and wider, deeper pink inflorescences that start to show in late July and keep on wowing through the rest of the summer and fall. ‘Karley Rose’ is even hardier than the species meaning you can plant and admire with confidence!

This selection forms a large mound of arching green leaves. Soft smoky-pink coloured bottlebrush flower spikes appear in mid to late summer, turning to buff as they dry.
