Though not too showy, they do attract butterflies and hummingbirds to the shade! Out of bloom, the plant reaches 3 feet high and about 4 feet wide, an excellent size for the foundation or a low hedge as well as a border accent. Enjoy this masterpiece.

Another plant breakthrough from Proven Winners®/Color Choice®, ‘L’il Kim’® is the first dwarf variety of Rose of Sharon on the market opening up loads of landscape possibilities that weren’t available previously given the 8-10’ sizing of all others in this species. ‘L’il Kim’® is less than half the size meaning it will fit in small spaces or along the foundation without overpowering the area. Just because it’s small, don’t think that ‘L’il Kim’® is a wimp when it comes to blooming! Starting in mid July, big, beefy buds begin to open to reveal 2″ diameter, star shaped, pure white flowers with a stunning deep red center. The bloom is heavy, lasts into early September and the individual flowers last up to 3 days, 3 times longer than those on any other Hibiscus!! Even its foliage is better than its larger brethren showing better thickness and much deeper color than others. You’ll want to plant more than one ‘L’il Kim’® and why not with its easy care nature and its ability to thrive in full or half day sun.
