Members of the Dianthus Confetti Series produce a profusion of small, serrated blooms above low growing, tufted, evergreen foliage. This popular cultivar has tiny, starry, deep burgundy flowersthat begin bloom in mid-May and continue into late spring and early summer. The bloom will even repeat later in the summer if plants are sheared back lightly after the first blooms fade. The handsome, narrow evergreen leaves are bronzy-green and form a thick carpet.
